Nestled in a small enclave on the Little Snake River, less than one mile from the River Run Gondola at Keystone Ski Resort, Trappers Crossing is the perfect winter or summer vacation spot in Keystone Colorado. Trappers provides easy access to an amazing array of winter, spring, summer, and fall activities, yet it provides a degree of peace and quiet that you won't find in most mountain resort properties. Trappers was built with upscale amenities throughout. Relax on leather sofas in front of the fireplace, sit on the deck overlooking the Snake River (not recommended in winter!), or soothe your ski-weary muscles in the Trappers hot tub. You can be at the Gondola or in the Heart of River Run for quality dining or shopping in less than five minutes, thanks to the year round shuttle that picks up right at the entrance to Trappers. Watch the sunrise over the Continental Divide out the dining room window at breakfast, or be amazed at the beauty of the lodgepole and ponderosa pine forest just on the other side of the ample windows in the 20 foot by 15 foot family room. The openness of our four bedroom home allows you to spread out and spend quality time with your family and friends. There are three bedrooms with Queen-size beds (two of which have their own private, full baths with Jacuzzi tubs) and one bedroom with bunkbeds for four.
This beautiful rental unit was large enough for our family of five, with three teenage boys over six feet tall. Grandparents joined us for Thanksgiving and everyone had plenty of room. The outside ski/board storage was helpful. Hot tub was appreciated and easily accessed. The only problem we had was that the oven was not clean and the unit filled with smoke during the preheat. Many doors and windows open and the unit quickly cleared. This could easily have happened in my own home!
Amy - - our apologies for the bottom of the oven not being entirely clean for your stay, our goal is run the self cleaning mode on the oven as often as possible to burn away any residue left from prior tenants, but we obviously missed it this time. we will make sure we stay on top of it going forward - - glad you enjoyed your stay in Keystone.
We fully enjoyed our stay at your property. Plenty of room and very well stocked. Beautiful location next to stream but close enough to walk to River Run. Would stay here again in a second !!
Great location, great property. all the amenities of home. a very warm and inviting condo. beds were comfy and everything was clean and in good working order. would recommend to anyone looking for a place to go and get away in the mountains.
We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. The condo itself was very well set up for our group, with plenty of bedding and supplies, and was very comfortable for three couples with kids. Access to Keystone was pretty easy with the shuttle (every 20 minutes), and driving to Keystone or Arapahoe Basin was also very easy. This was a great condo at a great price!
We stayed at this condo for a 4 day weekend of skiing and fun. It was great. The condo is gorgeous and spacious. We were able to use the kitchen, relax by the fire and grill up some steaks. The condo is within walking distance to the bus stop which takes you right to the slopes. I'm looking forward to going back soon.
Our family and friends rented this property for a ski trip. The home is EXACTLY what we were hoping for and made for a wonderful stay in the mountains! The condo was HUGE, open and welcoming. Everything was beautifully decorated and furnished. We had every amenity we could ask for: high speed internet, hot tub, fully furnished kitchen, multiple televisions, large bedrooms and a great fireplace. It made for a warm and relaxing experience especially after a long day on the slopes. The condo's location is AMAZING!! It's on a really quiet and secluded location on the Snake River. Even though we were totally surrounded by nature the condo is still just a few seconds from the gondola at Keystone. My family can't wait to go back to Trappers!!!
